Look at the following figure made of solid wood: A rectangular prism of length nine inches, width eight inches and height five inches with a smaller rectangular prism added on. One side of the smaller rectangular prism aligns with the side of the larger one. The length of the smaller prism is seven inches and width is eight inches. The total height of the both the prisms combined is seven inches.
