Tragedy of commons is the phrase which is initially advocated by an environmentalist who describes that when resources are shared and utilized by the people with common interests will definitely deplete it to such an extent that resources go vanished. Grand banks fishing grounds which were abundant with cod fishes were harnessed to a great extent by the humans for fishing that the ecosystem got damaged reducing the cod population.  

Earth’s atmosphere is another resource which is used and abused by many. Green house has emission and pollution causes an irreparable damage to the atmosphere.
