Hossein is a weightlifter. His best lift in training is a bar with a mass of 250kg. He does 5000 j of work on the bar with a mass of 250kg when he lifts it.
The gravitational field strength (g) on earth is 10 N/kg
I am trying to calculate the weight of this 250kg mass, and how high Hossein lifts the bar.
Weight = 2,500N (I think) but can’t work out how to get the height lifted in metres..
Can anyone help in working this out, showing workings so I can work it through with my daughter.
Many thanks

You are traveling in a car going at a constant speed of 100km/h down a long, straight highway. you pass another car going in the same direction which is traveling at a constant speed of 80km/h. as measured from your car's reference frame this other car is traveling at −20km/h. what is the acceleration of your car as measured from the other car's reference frame? what is the acceleration of the other car as measured from your car's reference frame?

Much of the information taught in earth-space science would not be available if it weren’t for our remote sensing abilities. explain two ways our remote sensing strategies contribute to our knowledge of these topics.
