In a certain region of space, a particle is described by the wave function ψ=cxe−bx where c is a real constants, b =1.7 , and m=3.2. by substituting into the schrodinger equation, find the potential energy (not necessarily constant) in this region and also find the energy of the particle. (hint: your solution must give an energy that is a constant everywhere in this region, independent of x.)

If the temperature were raised very high, classically what would we expect the heat capacity per object to be for this one-dimensional system? give a numerical value. chigh t = __ j/k/object (one reason for the discrepancy is that the high-temperature limit assumes that the number of oscillators is large (n > > 1), which is not the case in this tiny system.)

Agroup of students were investigating the force of gravity. they began by dropping a foam ball from a height of 3 meters into a bucket of sand. the ball hit the sand in 0.306 seconds. they dropped additional balls of approximately the same diameter, but of different masses. here is the data they collected. based on this experiment and the collected data, what would their conclusion be?
