What does too few arguments to function mean ti-89 calculator?

It means you're not putting enough arguments into a function.for example, with the solve function, the syntax issolve(equation, variable)equation and variable  are called arguments.if you typed insolve(x^2+5)it will say too few arguments because you literally have only 1 out of the 2 arguments required. you did not specify the second argument, the variable.different ti-89 functions will have different amounts of arguments. you can look at the arguments via the  catalog  button to find a function. the arguments are printed on the bottom left of the screen when you hover over a function.
