then we have:

(1 + 1/2) pages per (3 +1/3) minutes

solving the parentheses:

(3/2) pages per (10/3) minutes

dividing both sides bi (3/2)

1 page per (10/3)*(2/3) minutes = 20/9 minutes = (2/9 + 18/9) minutes = (2 + 2/9) minutes

then Sean needs on average (2 + 2/9) minutes to read one page.
