Carl earns $3.24 per hour walking his neighbor's dogs. He walks them 1/4 of an hour in the morning and 1/2 of an hour in the afternoon. How much money does Carl earn each day? It really confuses me so if anybody does want to answer please add in an explanation it would really help, thanks!
