So Chase works totally 18 hours last week
So the hours he works on Saturday is (18-x)
And given the salary of working after school is $8 per hour,and the salary of working on Saturday is $10,and he earned $156
So with these we can write a equation
8x+10(18-x)=156
solve it,
8x+180-10x=156
-2x=-24
X=12
as I said x is the hour working after school
The hour working on Saturday should be 18-x
18-12=6
Answer is 6
