One accomplishment of the national government under the Articles of Confederation was the passage of a law establishing -
o the President's right to put down rebellions
counting of enslaved persons for purposes of taxation and representation
a central banking system
O a process for admitting new states into the Union

he believed that congress would be better not dealing with "lobbyists", or people who seek to influence (a politician or public official) on an issue, since historically, they had problems with these kinds of people. he thought lobbying produces benefits, but should be carefully monitored.

the federal constitution of the united mexican states of 1824 was enacted on october 4 of 1824, after the overthrow of the mexican empire of agustin de iturbide. in the new constitution, the republic took the name of of united mexican states. it was replaced by the federal constitution of the united mexican states in 1857.
