The author talks about how the Holocaust survivors dealt with their experiences in the concentration camps. He says, "It is hard to say for sure if Holocaust survivors had built-in traits that helped them survive, or if they developed these traits as a result of their experiences." What do you think? Do you agree that they already had these traits and that's why they were able to survive? Or do you disagree and agree with the second statement that they gained these traits because they had to go through these horrible experiences?
