False, according to my reasearch sperm only survives a maximum of 5 days. while the ovum statement is correct... i don’t know if this is true or false, so i’ll give my best guess and say false. because if the sperm lives for 5 days... and the ovum lives for one day. there is only a 1/5 chance they’ll meet at the same time. not likely.

I would say it’s true, ovulation lasts for 12-48 hours but potentially fertile for up to seven days and and sperm can live up to five days in the female reproductive tract.
