What are macromolecules? What elements are they made up of?

A macromolecule is a very large molecule, commonly composed of the polymerization of smaller subunits called monomers. An example is proteins.

Although more than 25 types of elements can be found in biomolecules, six elements are most common. These are called the CHNOPS elements; the letters stand for the chemical abbreviations of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, and sulfur.

-they are located in the surface of earth, deep within the earth and beneath the ocean floor."    

protein makes up the building blocks of organs, muscles, skin, hormones and pretty much everything that matters in your body.

so pretty much meat, dairy, nuts, and grains.
