Some of the things he said to prove they're point was, "I believe that bioplastics offer us a solution to the problems caused by regular plastics.  Bioplastics are made from organic materials, like corn, sugar cane, and potatoes.  Since these are all natural materials, a container made of bioplastics is not as likely to harm the Earth as one made from plastic.  Like the plants they are made from, bioplastics can break down and become a part of the earth’s soil." and also In my opinion, the key to helping our planet stay healthy is bioplastics.  They can help us to make sure that the products we create can return safely to the soil. Despite their cost, I think bioplastics are the best way for us to treat the Earth with more respect."
