in the christian religion, every law they have given is still relevant today. we are still expected to save sex for marriage and love everyone and be kind forgiving. heaven is still a very real concept. so i hell. hell still instills fear in people, and heaven instills peace. so yes the ideas and norms of my ancestors is still relevant.
