How does the author use language – vivid descriptions, formal or informal, dialogue, imagery, etc.?
Check the accuracy of your predictions. Did you confirm them or do you need to revise them?

What details from the text support the theme?
Describe each character. What are they like? How do they speak? How do they interact with others?
Name and briefly describe the main character. How does the main character grow or change through the text?
Name one or two minor characters.
