Why it is hard for people to accept new ideas or ways of thinking?

Its hard because most people are lazy they don't want to spent time understanding and finding ways to abide new ideas they was to sick to the same thing to avoid more work. People don't like change like new ideas of thinking as it causes them to have to spend time understanding that new was of thinking, either way this all links with change hope this helps.
