What is the main conflict in the lady or the tiger?

The main conflict is love and jealousy.

Explanation: Once the king finds out about the princess and her boyfriend, the boyfriend gets sent into the pit. She knew which door had the tiger and which door had the lady. So she'd either have to watch her true love be devoured by a hungry tiger or watch him marry the lady. So she loves him and doesn't want him to die, but she also doesn't want to see him get married to another woman.
