(This another set of questions from DT, i need the answers rn) (Q1) Volume and Mass of Beam.
The Density of Concrete is 2400 kg/m³.

i) Calculate the area of the end of the beam.
Area of end of Beam=

i) Calculate the volume of a single beam.
Volume of Beam =

i) What is the Mass of one beam? (Volume x Density)
Mass of beam =

(Q2) Sensible Heat.
The Specific Heat Capacity of concrete is 880 J/kg°C
Heat added = specific heat x mass x final/initial

i) How much heat energy (Joules) is needed to heat the beam from freezing point 0°C to maximum temperature of 40°C

ii) How much heat is lost as the beam cools to -5°C from temperature of 20°C overnight.

Refrigerant-134a enters the compressor of a refrigerator as superheated vapor at 0.14 mpa and -10°c at a rate of 0.05 ka/s and leaves at 0.8 mpa and 50°c. the refrigerant is cooied in the condenser to 0.72 mpa and 26'c. it is then throttled to 0.15 mpa. sketch the t-s diagram for the system and evaluate: 6) the rate of heat removai from the refrigerated space (kw), it) the power input to the compressor (kw), ii) the isentropic efficiency of the compressor (%), and iv) the cop of the refrigerator.
