You are an engineer working for an aquaculture firm that is raising brackish water fish. Natural sea water contains approximately 3.5 g/L of salt; brackish water ranges in salt concentration from 0.5 - 2.0 g/L salt. You need to supply an aquaculture tank with a continuous supply of water containing 3 g/L of salt at a flow rate of 2,000 L/hr. You would like to blend the water from a well containing 1.25 g/L of salt with water from a well containing 3.75 g/L of salt. Calculate the required volumetric flow rate from each well assuming steady state conditions.
