In the next experiment, scientists plan to take the same metal cube, but add 4000J of energy to heat it up from room temperature (23oC) the thermal equilibrium of the water and cube is 25 C. The metal that the cube is made of has a melting point of 450oC and a boiling point of 1280oC. What state of matter will the cube be once it is heated up? Use math to support your answer.
