Cell is defined as the structural and functional unit of the life. The cells are smallest living entity, which consists of several organelles. The plasma membrane, cytoplasm, genetic material, and ribosomes are some of the organelles required for a cell to survive.

The cells can be prokaryotic or eukaryotic. These cells differ on the structural integrity and composition of the cell. However, the organelles minimally required for a cell to survive are:

1. Plasma membrane

2. Ribosomes

3. Cytoplasm

4. Genetic material

Therefore, the cells can be unicellular or multicellular. The survival of cell depends on minimum four cell organelles, which are cell membrane, genetic material, cytoplasm, and ribosomes.
