in this situation, having or not having bands does not
necessarily offer any protection by camouflage. In fact, in
these cases, predators may learn to spot the most common
phenotype and selectively feed on those snails. Suppose you
released another 100 snails in a more varied habitat, with the
numbers of each phenotype shown in the blue circles. Which
