What makes the cell theory a scientific theory?

Now it's your turn to investigate human impact around the world. grab your virtual lab coat and put on your environmental science hat. you will be taking a trip around the globe to explore three locations. at each location, you will investigate the cause and effect relationships of deforestation, desertification, and urbanization. you will also gather evidence of how these factors have impacted the environment over time

Imagine that certain laws of physics could be ignored and you were able to travel vast distances in moments. now imagine that you traveled to an earth-like planet located light-years away that is known to support life. think about what you’ve learned in this unit and make an argument for what you think would be the dominant type of life form on this planet. consider whether a notochord is required for an organism to manipulate its environment and become a dominant creature.

The pharynx is the structure in the body that serves as a pathway of both air and food. how does the body make sure that food does not get into the lungs? the salivary glands secrete enzymes that pull food out of the air pathway. the small intestine pushes the air out of the digestive system. the pancreas breaks down food in the air pathway. the epiglottis closes the air pathway so that food will not enter it.
