GIVING BRAINLEIST, HURRY!!
Read the passage. Then evaluate the need for a solution and consider each solution suggested. Which solution do you think is more likely to be successful? Explain your reasoning.
People traveling to an island accidentally introduced mice into an ecosystem that previously had no mice. The population of mice grew quickly out of control. It started harming populations of native plants and birds. Scientists offered two solutions. One was to introduce cats to the island. The cats could hunt and eat the mice. The other suggestion was to introduce a disease that could infect the mice and reduce their population.
