As CO2 concentrations increase over the years, what does the average global temperature do? Do you think there is a relationship between the two?

As CO2 increases, global temperature increases. CO2 is an example of a greenhouse gas. A greenhouse gas insulates heat within the atmosphere. The more greenhouse gasses there are in the atmosphere, the higher the earths temperature will be.

This is what is often referred to as global warming. Though the earth would be below freezing without these gasses, when too many are produced from causes like manufacturing plants, vehicle exhaust, and electrical plants, we have to deal with the consequences of climate change.
