Para realizar estas actividades se tendrá en cuenta la carpeta de actividades del ciclo 2020 1- Romanticismo y El matadero de Esteban Echeverría
a- Leer el cuento El matadero de Esteban Echeverría (fragmento que está en la carpeta) y la teoría sobre
Romanticismo, Unitarios y Federales y Generación del ’37; luego realizar lo siguiente
• ¿En qué época del año sucede la historia?
• Explicar la crítica a la iglesia que aparece en las primeras palabras del narrador.
• Describir el ambiente del matadero; también hacerlo con los personajes que se encuentran allí (físico,
vestimenta, modales, lenguaje) copiar citas que justifiquen la respuesta.
• Teniendo en cuenta las ideas de civilización y las de barbarie copiar ejemplos que las representen.
• El joven unitario se diferencia de quienes lo capturan al definirse a sí mismo: copiar las citas del texto donde
aparecen sus palabras. Si lo comparas con los personajes que están en el matadero ¿Tienen algún parecido?
Justificar con citas extraídas del cuento
• En el texto hay ironía copiar citas que lo justifiquen; por lo menos cuatro ejemplos
• Los mazorqueros, soldados de Rosas, lo capturan y los llevan a la muerte ¿por qué, según lo que entendiste,
realizan esto?
• ¿Cuál es la crítica que hace Esteban Echeverría al gobierno de rosas en el final de la historia?
