Self-esteem is very important, for how a person acts, and how well they might do on a task. Someone with a higher self-esteem, might put more effort into what they do, because they are more confident in their capabilities. While someone with a lower self-esteem might struggle in completing a task, or not put much effort into it. This is why the six pillars, the Practice of Living Consciously, the Practice of Self-Acceptance, the Practice of Self-Responsibility, the Practice of Self-Assertiveness, the Practice of Living Purposefully, and the Practice of Personal Integrity, are important in everyday life. Living consciously is meant to help you gain more knowledge, talk with others, and maybe open up about different things. Its about recognizing where you are in life, and where you want to be in the future. People who have mastered self-accepting, realize their thoughts and actions, and accept them, not making excuses for them, allowing them to say, think, or do certain actions without feeling guilty. Just practicing at least two of the six pillars would make one more confident about their self, putting forth more effort into what they do, as well as their pride into their actions and work.
