Jan and Lisa are twins. They were split up when they were 3 weeks old as part of an adoption process. They are now 30 years old. Jan is a stock broker and lives very well. She is not married, has no children and is very athletic. She is very involved with social justice work and she often volunteers her time and donates money to social justice causes like Amnesty International. Lisa has been in and out of prison through her teens and into her young adult years. These two sisters were reunited in 2019 via social media and through Ancestry. com. Recently Psychological researchers from Yale University have contacted these two sisters about potentially having them be subjects for research. Lisa was adopted into a family that ended up having serious problems, including her parents being in and out of prison for drug charges. Lisa fell in with a social circle that did not value school very much. Some of her friends ended up in Juvenile detention centers. Jan's parents were lawyers and Jan went to private school.
