3. Is Scar any more likeable of a character than Claudius? Why/why not?

Both characters are quiet similar, but I wouldn't say that Scar is more likeable at all. Mostly because his only desire is to overthrow his brother and to take the full authority in the country. While doing so, Scar practically destroys his realm, gives full authority to natural enemies, just to preserve his authority.

Explanation:

At first glance, both are characters are similar. They all want to take power, and while doing so to eliminate their brothers. But, while on one side Claudius feels some guilt, Scar shows no remorse. Additionally, Scar destroys his country from the inside and feels no remorse, as the only thing he cares about is his power.
