In my opinion, the actions of the government, as depicted in the movie are not acceptable.

Explanation:

The 1995 outbreak described how a fictional virus called Motaba (similar to Ebola' reaches the United States and quickly mutates info a form of an influenza that is airborne and can spread quickly.

When the military is able to pinpoint the area of Cedar Creek as heavily infested, they impose a curfew and a martial law. However, in order to completely eradicate the virus, the military plans of bombing the area and killing all residents.

Theoretically, with the area cornered off, the virus can be stopped from spreading. However, in reality, this is something that never be acceptable in a modern democratic society.

In our world, human life has a lot of value and while it is important to stop the virus from spreading, it can never be done by deliberately killing thousands of people.
