Usually it would be 你好（ni hao) but if it is a very formal situation and the two people have distance between their relationship, he could say 您好(nin hao). however, 您好 is generally used more when talking to the elderly or of people who have a lot more authority than you (like speaking to a government member or something haha- it isn’t as commonly used than ni hao, but both are acceptable)
