What pronoun should you use to address a teacher in puerto rico

Puerto Rico is a country whose mother tongue is Spanish. So if you want to address a teacher in Puerto Rico, you must use the subject pronoun for the second person singular in formal form, which is usted. By using usted, you show respect to that person, in fact you need to show respect to him or her because he or she is a teacher.
