The different between jugar in each of the following sentences is that they are all conjugated in a way of what they are doing. For example, the first sentence is “Katie juega al fútbol en la escuela” by that conjugation she plays at school as of now. The second one “Alexia va a jugar...” this conjugation is that she is going to play now.
