This therapy primarily starts with facing situations and items that causes anxiety, but mostly anxiety that you can tolerate. By confronting the situation for the first few times, such person anxiety will not be high and won’t last long. After which the person will now move on to further difficult exposure exercises.

Checking on things, hand washing are repetitive behaviors that can affect individual daily activities including interaction with others.

Although many people having Obsessive-compulsive disorder has determined thought and unwanted routines and their behaviors are always very rigid. Not attending to their persistent though causes great distress.
