As the United States moves increasingly toward high-stakes testing, some nations are doing this as well, and some are moving away from this idea. High-stakes testing is easily defined as the test that helps make important decisions regarding schools. These tests are used for making decisions about students, districts, schools and educators for accountability of how they are performing against other schools.
