To administer euthanasia in Oregon according to the 1997 death with Dignity law, the patient first and before all be terminally ill with less then 6 months to live and aware of all other alternatives available to him. He must request in two times in oral form and once in a written form while also convincing two doctors and not having depression. After doing all that and waiting 15 days, the patient will be granted his wish.
