The most common way for the supreme court to take care of cases appealed to it is to

normally if cases comes to supreme court ,it should be already appealed in lower court and gets rejected . so it will go through all the matters discussed previously and mentioned in the judgement from the lower court. when there is a scope for re trial or re appeal they will take the case or else court will reject the case there itself.
