Does watching the news affect fear of terrorism? the importance of media exposure on terrorism fear

Watching news may increase ones fear of terrorism because, depending on the news station, the attack may be over exaggerated. It can also make you feel that you are constantly in danger of one happening in your area if the attacks are seeming to get closer.
