Why are interviews with relatives and friends not always reliable sources in a retrospective analysis

Because sometimes when someone you're close to is being interviewed, they may shape their opinions or not give fully honest answers in order to try and sound like something you'd agree with.

the kingdom was rich in goods like gold, iron, and salt. it established strong commercial ties with the regions governed by rome, egypt, and persia (arabia). aksum was a key location in this commercial network. trade was also facilitated with the introduction of the aksumite currency.
