There are many ways through which retired people can contribute. For the first time in their life, such people will have a regular source of income, lots of free time, some experience and grown-up kids if any. Whether retirement is involuntary after 65–70 years old or whether it’s early and voluntary in the 30s-40s, this is the time to do those things which you never had time for.

In a way, being retired today is like having universal basic income tomorrow.

It is an opportunity to create art, to meditate and get at peace with yourself and your past, to raise grandchildren if available, to volunteer or even to launch a startup for which you never had time or money.
