John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The image above is God's only son which he gave to save all of us. For us to be saved he needs to die for us. Since he is God's son he has the power to heal and to forgive sins thus the people think that he must die since only god himself can forgive sins. They do not know that he is the son of God. He was scared when the soldiers went to look for him but he new his mission on earth thus he left himself be captured. He had 12 disciples and one of them named Judas was the the one that betrays him and tells the soldiers where to find him(Jesus).
