What inspired Siddhartha Gautama to create a new religion

His enlightenment made him a Hindu sant/satguru, it was not

until king Ashoka who started believing in him as a Hindu

sant/satguru who spread his message across India and Asia through

missionaries casuing Buddhism to grow so large, it sepatated from

Hinduism!
