Can someone please help me get a idea for a political cartoon? The topic I got is the Spanish-American war

You could draw America in a cape pretending to be a hero since they wanted to help Cubans gain independence from Spain. Or maybe draw it like america is the big strong parent figure and cuba is trying to hide behind them while spain (the other parent figure) is trying to punish them. I havent learned a lot about the spanish-american war but i still hope this helps.
