Why should we live with self respect?what should be done for this?

In my opinion. Self respect is important because if you don't respect yourself, Life will almost appear meaningless to you. and some examples of self respect are things like setting goals to achieve throughout your life, whether its the fun things in life or even the important stuff also it has a BIG deal on how much Pride and confidence you have in yourself

we should live with self respect because it helps us to focus more on ourself and help us to love our body and soul just tge way they are . we should meditate and give attention to ourselves first more than giving it to other people who aren't worth it .

I just think that if we have to love ourself sometimes we have to be selfish. sometimes if somebody tries to offer me something to do and I am uncomfortable with that offer ,I have to say no to that person even if it is my friend or any other close person . learning to say 'No' if I am uncomfortable. learning to listen to my heart and learning to listen to my own thought is more important. you know when we start to love ourselves we don't need no one , we don't need relationships, we don't need fake friends, we don't need other people opinions, we don't need opinions of our toxic parents who just manipulate us to think we owe them something. learning self love is like learning how the people around us are so immature and toxic . learning to self respect to learning to be a mature person at any age .
