Individuals with prior information about the side-effects of the treatment given to them (i.e., epinephrine; an hormone that induces arousal, rapid breathing and among other effects) are the least to show the emotions of their counterpart.

This reason is adopted because these participants will acts in accordance to the possible side-effects explained to them prior to their placement in the room with the confederate teamed with them (who acted either euphoric or angry).

But, however, the other treatment group (who where not informed of the possible side-effects) have higher stake of showing the expression of their confederate counterpart.
