Un proyecto participativo de voluntariado para poblaciones en condiciones de vulnerabilidad es una de las ideas que vendrían a fortalecer la participación ciudadana en apoyo a poblaciones más vulnerables dentro de la sociedad.

La importancia que tiene la democracia y participación ciudadana para lograr el bien común en su localidad es que primero que nada, es uno de los mayores derechos y también obligaciones cívicas que tienen los miembros de una sociedad.

La participación ciudadana le permite a los miembros de una sociedad expresar su voluntad de manera organizada y a través de los diferentes mecanismo que ampara la ley para hacerlo en cada periodo de elecciones.

Esta participación encauzada al voluntariado nacional, facilita el que la ayuda llegue directamente a las personas que más lo necesitan y que no pase por las manos de políticos ni de oficinas de gobierno corruptas.

La participación ciudadana también debe de vigilar que todo el proceso de entrega de ayuda se transparente para que no se "manche" con la intervención de manos que sólo quiere ser "protagonistas" políticos para mejorar su imagen a costa de la necesidad de las personas.
