¿En qué consiste la teoría del Big-bang?

El origen del universo: la teoría del big bang. La ciencia actual cree y afirma que el Universo, en el que estamos, nació mediante una gran "explosión inicial" (Big Bang) hace unos 13.700 millones de años (1,37·1010 años) cuando aún no había estrellas ni galaxias, cuando el Universo empezaba a hacerse material.
