This intersection is especially unsafe at night. The lighting on the road is poor. There is only one small streetlight at the comer. The
intersection is not safe for people who are waliding There are no crosswalks or crossing signals, so people try to cross the street on their own. The
county should add a crosswalk and more lights to the intersection. The road is not safe for bicycle riders, either. The county should widen the road
to include a left-turn lane. Currently, when a driver tries to turn left, traffic becomes backed up. This creates a safety issue for other drivers as well
as unnecessary traffic
County officials should recognize the danger this intersection poses to the people in our community. I hope that the county's transportation
budget will include improvements to this intersection next year.
