Affectual awareness and self-instruction training are forms of therapy for people who has Hypoactive Sexual Desire and Sexual Averison.  

Hypoactive Sexual Desire or HSDD is a sexual dysfunction, where an individual who suffers from it lacks sexual fantasies and desires. While Sexual Aversion is characterized by extreme avoidance, fear, or disgust involving genital contact. The symptoms of these two sexual disorders can be reduce using the interventions, affectual awareness and self-instruction training. 

Affectual awareness is a therapy where the patient visualizes sexual scenes for him/her to discover negative emotions like anxiety and vulnerability when it comes to sex.

Self-Instruction Training is a coping skills training, which the patient will have to learn replace negative statements during sex.
