Christianity and atheism have a very different set of beliefs in relation to the existence of God. Atheism does not believe that god or gods exist. Christianity, on the other hand, believes in the existence of one God being Jesus Christ. They also don't agree on the origins of the universe. According to Christians the universe originated from "specific acts of divine creations." Opposite to this, atheists believe that the Universe was created by natural processes. The person who believes in the first statement is a religious person, and the person who believes in the second statement believes in science. The only agreement that they have in common is that the universe exists. They believe differently on how it got here and what the purpose of being here is. People with different views on the origin of the universe will live his/her life very differently than one another. A Christian will live their life to the expectation of god with morals and ethics while an atheist may just live her life to their own expectations, not believing in a higher power.
